Compassion-Focused Care

Carrie Cragun-Atchison, Ph.D. I am a Licensed Psychologist with 17 years of experience providing individual and group counseling to adolescents and adults. My style is warm, empathic, and laid back. I listen deeply and carefully in order to understand your unique identity and experiences. Together we will identify your goals and understand your past experiences. I often work with people who are seeking more meaningful relationships, greater self-confidence, and less anxiety. I also enjoy working with college students and those experiencing perinatal issues (i.e., difficulty conceiving, post-partum issues, pregnancy loss or termination). Education Ph.D., Counseling Psychology, SUNY at Albany Post-Doctoral Residency, Cornell University Counseling Center APA Accredited Doctoral Internship, University of Minnesota B.A., Psychology, University of Florida ******************************************************************** Shannon York, Psy.D. (Spanish speaking) I am a post-doctoral resident under supervision of Dr. Cragun-Atchison. Guided by my values of compassion, curiosity, and justice, I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe to bring in all parts of yourself. We can collaboratively uncover painful patterns that are no longer serving you, strategizing to forge a new path toward freedom from suffering. My goal is to empower you with the insight and skills necessary to live a joyful, meaningful, and fulfilling life. I have experience assisting folx with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, dating and relationship challenges, explorations of sexual and/or gender identity, processing impacts of immigration, and cultural identity. I also welcome individuals seeking support regarding non-monogamous, polyamorous, and kink-related challenges. I provide individual counseling for adults & teens and family therapy for teens. You can schedule a 15-minute free phone consultation by clicking "request appointment" or contact me at 904-469-6930 or shannonyorkpsyd@gmail.com. ******************************************************************** Noelia Ysern Solá, Psy.D. (Spanish speaking) Hi! I know that getting here was difficult enough and I want to help make this easier for you. I approach psychotherapy through a humanistic and compassionate lens. Safety, empathy, and understanding are values that guide my practice as we work together to heal, grow, and help you understand the world around you. I also look to create a therapeutic space that is right for you, based on your needs and who you are as a unique person. I am a post-doctoral resident under supervision of Dr. Cragun-Atchison. My experiences include working with depression, anxiety, life transitions and challenges (dating, moving to a new place, starting a new job, starting college, losing a loved one, coping with world events such as the pandemic), identity stressors (culture, gender, sexuality, discrimination), empowerment, trauma healing, and self-acceptance. I want to help you become the best version of yourself according to your own standards and to find meaning and joy in the life you lead. If you think I can help you in your journey, you can schedule a 15-minute free phone consultation by emailing me at noeliaysernpsyd@gmail.com. Whether it's with me or someone else, I hope you are able to find what you are looking for through therapy.
